About

LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Starting with thoughtful site analysis, we design and craft landscapes which are experientially rich and ecologically responsible. Composing with form, color, time, and materials while taking into account natural systems, we seek to reveal the genius of a place by amplifying its assets and uncovering its potential.
Our approach is grounded in environmentally sustainable practices such as stormwater management, waste reduction, salvaging existing materials, and empowering people to be agents in the space. From terrace gardens to interior retail installations to envisioning a masterplan for a public school, we work at many scales and value close communication with our clients and the communities we're serving.

CONSTRUCTION
Our skilled crew of horticulturists, carpenters and masons is available to install stone patios, water features, custom planters, trellises, and any other elements in your plan. We hand pick, deliver and install a diverse palette of native and naturalized plants from local nurseries customized to the micro-climate and maintenance requirements of each site.

MAINTENANCE
Superlative white glove horticultural maintenance services are available for penthouses, offices, retail spaces, terraces, townhouse or brownstone backyards, and common roof decks. Weekly, Bi-weekly, and Monthly service packages are available.

Shots of Witch Hazel in full bloom from yesterday's spring clean up visit. We love how beautifully the blooms contrast with the sugi ban fence. Hellebores and Crocus are blooming in the understory below.
Nice to see the planting we installed in the August heat is making it through this harsh winter.

Winter time at the Cammeyer is in full effect with the forms of the mature Wisteria vines revealed, the mass of Karl Foerester grasses blowing in the wind, the texture of the River Birch bark in the mini bosque and the riot of seedheads!

Gorgeous senescence was one of the main criteria for the planting design for this naturalistic planting in Willy Guhl vintage planters. The terrace is not huge and the planting is minimal so each plant has to offer more than one season of interest.
Our favorite vertical garden is in late fall glory right now with the Hakonechloa grasses catching the light perfectly and the Montauk daisies and Geranium foliage turning to shades of yellow. All the Carex and Acorus should remain green all winter.
